This Privacy Policy explains how this website (mollyschwartztherapy.com) handles information from visitors. It applies to the website only. Your health information as a therapy client is protected separately, under a Notice of Privacy Practices you'll receive when we begin care.

What this site collects

If you fill out the contact form, I collect the information you choose to share; typically your name, email address, and your message. Because the website form is hosted by Squarespace and isn't part of my secure-email setup, please keep it general and save sensitive health details for my secure email or our sessions.

This site may also collect basic, non-identifying analytics (like pages visited) to help me understand what's useful.

How I use it

I use what you send through the contact form only to respond to you and to coordinate a consultation. I use analytics only to improve the site. I never sell, rent, or trade your information.

Where it goes

This website is hosted by Squarespace, and scheduling is handled through SimplePractice. These services process your information on my behalf under their own privacy and security practices.

Your choices

You can ask what information I have from you, ask me to delete it, or simply not use the contact form. To make a request, contact me at molly@mollyschwartztherapy.com.

A note on email and forms

My email is secure: I use Paubox encryption with signed Business Associate Agreements (BAAs) in place with both Paubox and Google, so messages to and from my professional email address (molly@mollyschwartztherapy.com) are encrypted and HIPAA-compliant.

The website contact form is a separate channel hosted by Squarespace, so it's not covered by those agreements. Please keep anything you share in the website form general: save clinical or detailed personal information for my secure email or our sessions. If you're in crisis, call or text 988 or go to your nearest emergency room.

Children's privacy

This website is intended for adults and is not directed at children under 13.
