Hey! I'm Molly.
I'm an individual and relationship therapist based in Atlanta, and I’m so glad you found me and this space! Welcome ◡̈
My road to becoming a therapist wasn’t a straight line, and frankly I’m thrilled about it!
Before I was a therapist, I worked in the public health, reproductive healthcare, and sex tech spaces in New York City. I spent years talking to all kinds of folks about their bodies and desires and feelings of shame, and the thing I kept running into was that hardly anyone had ever been asked what they actually wanted. Not by a partner, not by a medical provider, and usually not by themselves either. They had been handed a script to perform, a mold to fit into and then they were told something was wrong with them when it didn't feel right to them.
So I became a therapist (after many years of school). I’m a firm believer that people don't need fixing. They've just never been in a room where wanting something out loud was safe, okay or even welcome, and that's the room I want to build every time.
In the therapy room, I'm warm and laid-back. I'll laugh with you. I'll go deep with you when it feels right, and I’ll be direct with you. I believe healing is allowed to have color and joy, and even a little whimsy in it. Both your adult self and your inner child get seats at the table and are equally welcome in the conversation about your healing.
I'm not the kind of therapist who thinks a diagnosis is the most interesting thing about you, and I don't believe healing only happens in a tidy 50-minute box.
There's no single right way to come home to yourself, so we'll find yours. Sometimes that's learning new skills and or how to set boundaries. Sometimes it's pulling out lots of tools in the kit. What it does mean is that you're the expert on you, and I'm here to help sort through all the feelings and thoughts that come with it.

I love therapy, and because I think it matters: I'm a therapist who has a therapist! I've been on the other side of the therapy room (and has for the better part of my life). I understand exactly how messy, uncomfortable, and sometimes painful therapy can be at times when seeking support. I’ve also personally experienced how fulfilling, validating and impactful therapy can be, and I’m here to support you through it all to help you find the joy in therapy and exploring yourself.

Outside of therapy, I'm usually listening to new music or a non-fiction audiobook while crafting, or I’m out bopping around to local restaurants/coffee shops.
My current craft of choice is bedazzling, and I’m a huge proponent of the meditative and healing impacts of crafts! Feel free to ask me about it anytime.
• I recharge by spending time with my community, usually with lengthy conversation and game nights. As someone who has lived experience with chronic illness and burnout, I prioritize rest, community and creativity, and aim to model that healing is an ongoing journey for all of us. Rest is a right we all deserve, and it’s not something that we have to wait to earn.
